Avoid this business at all costs. Unfortunately the quality is not what it used to be, and it starts with David the owner. I have worked with this company multiple times over the last 5 years and was very happy with them. Even gave them a 5 star review a little over a year ago. How things have change. After providing a clear design to the owner directly, he accidentally used my old logo even though it was not the logo in the design I provided. Wrong logo on a total of 26 panels. Not a little mistake. I was polite when I called and shared that the signs had the wrong “old” logo, and instead of taking ownership of the mistake he got defensive and argumentative and made the whole conversation super awkward and somehow tried to make it like it was my fault even though the logo was correct in the design which I provided. He then said the colors were not right for his printer and so when he fixed he must have done the wrong logo. At least then he admitted he did the wrong logo. He got the colors right, but the text of logo was wrong. I asked if he could fix the signs. He said he would, but wanted to just add a cut out of the logo that he would add to the middle of the sign. I said I would prefer to have the same quality sign that I originally had expected. Not a cut out bandaid type job. I get it. It’ll cost him to make things right, but that is part of taking ownership of making a mistake and doing right by your customers. Before approving the correct design with the correct logo, I emailed him, “will the material and quality be the same as what was previously done?” Instead of responding in the email, he called me. And again was rude, and questioned why I would even ask that. I explained that when he made a mistake on an order last year, he slapped a layer onto the previous layer, rather than removing the old layer. And it was an inferior material that bubbled and peeled. Those signs are now peeling and falling a part. (See photo of the red sign). I just wanted the sign to meet the same level of quality as to what I have received a couple years earlier. Well, I picked up the “correct” signs earlier this week, and guess what. He cut corners and instead of peeling off the previous layer, slapped the new layer on top. And even worse, the signs don’t have the protective plastic film over them that they usually do. I’ll be surprised if these signs even last a year. Already has bubbles and I picked them up 4 days ago. All this from a business that used to go above and beyond. I could expect something like this from maybe a new employee who didn’t like their job, but not from an owner of a business. There are many sign companies out there. Find one that has an owner who has integrity, doesn’t cut corners, and takes ownership of their mistakes. Because if they do make a mistake, you’ll pay for it one way or another.

Excel has been doing our signage/ vehicles for the past 5 years. Very happy with our overall experience. From start to finish we were kept informed and appreciate that. Final product was approved by us before the work was done. Overall 5 star service!!!
